Cotton Fest 2024 was nothing short of excitement and great  vibes, the event was celebrating its 5th instalment at the Joburg Old station when it took place on the 6th of April. The Founder of the event Riky Rick (Rikhado Makhado) passed on, In February 2022, the event is a continuation of the foundation that he has lay and his Philosophy of embracing the youth’s creative ideas. The Cotton Fest event embraces collaborative efforts between Music and Fashion, it  encourages young creatives to embrace the power of collaboration.

The event that begin as a Hip Hop event to help upcoming South African Hip Hop Artist with its edition first in 2019 and it has grown over the years to become an iconic event to South Africans especially the youth and its one of the most anticipated social events in South Africa.

The event has load of fun pack activities such as a Mini skate park, Basketball activity and other fun activities that people indulge on throw out the course of the day. With a packed artist line up featuring upcoming artist in the music industry and well-established artists the event is field with a diverse artist line-up. The event features  three different stages that embrace the diverse music culture in South Africa, with a stage for Hip Hop, House/Amapiano and main headliners stage it’s a great event to be associated with.
